I met Tori + Pra in 2017 when we got together on the shores of Lake Huron for a sunset session for their engagement. The next day we travelled to Detroit, Michigan together for a a few more extra special shots of them together at the Detroit Red Wings old stompin’ grounds – the Joe Louis Arena (click here to see more from that session!)
So, you can imagine how stoked I was when they got in touch to let me know that they were expecting and wanted to meet up again for maternity photos! We got together at the Cambridge Butterfly Conservatory on an extra cold day in February and were especially glad for the tropical temps inside! We discovered that Pra is some sort of butterfly whisperer as they flocked to him all morning and got to see the most beautiful Atlas Moth up close when he came to take a little peek at Tori’s bump.
(Fun fact: Atlas Moths are the largest moths in the world, and they are STUNNING).
